逼迫某人

(1) twist “扭动；扭，拧”
(2) twist one’s arm有2种意思：
一是“把某人的手臂反扭到背后”，常见的就是警察抓捕犯罪嫌疑人
二是“强迫某人做某事，向某人施加压力”
(3) twist one’s arm about doing sth. “强迫某人做某事，逼迫某人做某事”
(4) you twisted my arm “这可是你逼我的”

逼迫某人做某事
make sb. do sth.
(1) make有“强迫，逼迫”的意思
(2) make sb. do sth. “迫使某人做某事，逼迫某人做某事”
(3) be made to do sth. “被迫做某事”
例
don’t try to make Mitchell do something he doesn’t wanna do.
别逼米奇尔做他不想做的事。
Don’t make me come over there.
别逼我过去。
强迫某人做某事
force sb. to do sth.
(1) force “迫使，强迫”
(2) force sb. to do sth.“迫使某人做某事，强迫某人做某事”
在日常英语中，make sb. do sth.比force sb. to do sth.更常用
(3) be forced to do sth. “被迫做某事”
(4) force oneself to do sth. “逼迫自己做某事”
